What is recalled
Raychy Children's Light Sneakers Unisex, sold in red, black, and blue. The sneakers have a spiderweb pattern on top and light-up soles. The word "Fashion" is printed on the shoe tongue. Imported by Carina and Rambo.

What to do right now
Stop letting children wear or play with these sneakers immediately. To get a refund, cut the shoe tongue, write "RECALLED" on both sides of each sneaker with a permanent marker, take a photo of the marked shoes, and email the photo to [email protected]. Dispose of the removed coin batteries through your local hazardous waste or battery recycling program.

The hazard
The recalled sneakers violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
