FSIS Issues Public Health Alert for Beef and Pork Products Due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergen

Sky Ranch Meat LLC is alerting consumers that four marinated beef and pork products sold at Lotte Plaza Market stores contain sesame oil, but sesame is not listed on the label. People with a sesame allergy or sensitivity could have a serious allergic reaction without any warning from the packaging.

What is recalled
Four products sold in 1.5-lb. clear plastic containers with safety lids, all bearing establishment number EST. 1377 inside the USDA mark of inspection, with "SELL BY" dates of DEC.11.25 through APR.16.26: 1. "QUALITY MEAT SKY RANCH PREMIUM PROVISIONS MARINATED BEEF RIBEYE ROLL / BULGOGI" 2. "QUALITY MEAT SKY RANCH PREMIUM PROVISIONS MARINATED PORK TENDERIZED CT BUTT" 3. "QUALITY MEAT SKY RANCH PREMIUM PROVISIONS MARINATED BEEF SLICED SHORT RIBS / LA STYLE" 4. "QUALITY MEAT SKY RANCH PREMIUM PROVISIONS MRN PORK SINGLE BELLY CHOP / JUMULLEOK" These items were produced from December 1, 2025 through April 6, 2026 and shipped to Lotte Plaza Market retail locations in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia.

Check the label for the brand name "QUALITY MEAT SKY RANCH PREMIUM PROVISIONS," a 1.5-lb. clear plastic container with a safety lid, establishment number EST. 1377, and a "SELL BY" date between DEC.11.25 and APR.16.26. These were sold only at Lotte Plaza Market stores in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia.

Misbranding; Unreported Allergens - <p><strong>WASHINGTON, April 9, 2026</strong>, The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for raw beef and pork products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The products may contain sesame, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase.</p> <p>The raw beef and pork items were produced from December 1, 2025, through April 6, 2026. These items were shipped to Lotte Plaza Market retail locations in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia.</p> <p>The problem was discovered by FSIS personnel during a routine label review. FSIS personnel noticed the use of sesame oil in the products, but sesame was not declared as an ingredient on the label.</p> <p>There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a health care provider.</p> <p>FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
