What is recalled

Two frozen soup dumpling products, both bearing establishment number "EST. 45942" inside the USDA mark of inspection: 1. 13.23-oz. plastic bag packages labeled "Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING PORK & CRAB" with a BEST BY date of 15 OCT 2026, 10 NOV 2026, 13 DEC 2026, 26 JAN 2027, or 23 FEB 2027. 2. 375-g. plastic bag packages labeled "Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING DUMPLINGS A LA SOUPE SUPREME PORK & CRAB PORC ET CRABE" with "Product of USA/Produit des E.-U" and a best by date of 2026 OC 15 or 2027 JA 26. Products were shipped to retail locations in California, New Jersey, and Washington, and were also exported to Canada.

The correct date is 13 DEC 2026, replacing the incorrect date of 23 DEC 2026.</p> <p><strong>WASHINGTON, May 31, 2026</strong>&nbsp;, Synear Foods USA, LLC, a Chatsworth, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 71,603&nbsp;pounds of frozen not-ready-to-eat (NRTE) pork and crab soup dumpling products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens,&nbsp;the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains peanut,&nbsp;a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The frozen NRTE pork and crab soup dumpling products&nbsp;were produced between October 15, 2025, and February 23, 2026. &nbsp;The following products are subject to recall [<a href="/sites/default/files/food_label_pdf/2026-05/Recall-007-2026-Labels.pdf">view labels</a>]:&nbsp;</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>13.23-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING PORK &amp; CRAB” and “BEST BY” dates 15 OCT 2026, 10 NOV 2026, 13 DEC 2026, 26 JAN 2027, or 23 FEB 2027.</li> <li>375-g. plastic bag packages containing “Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING DUMPLINGS À LA SOUPE SUPRÊME PORK &amp; CRAB PORC ET CRABE” with&nbsp;“Product of USA/Produit des E.-U” and best by dates 2026 OC 15 or 2027 JA 26.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 45942” inside&nbsp;the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in California, New Jersey, and Washington. FSIS personnel identified that the products were formulated with peanut oil, but peanuts were not declared on the finished product label. The establishment determined that a formulation change led to the mislabeling.</p> <p>There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.&nbsp;Anyone&nbsp;concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers.&nbsp;Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.</p> <p>FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers.
