Tesla is recalling 2026 Model Y vehicles because the horn's ground wire may disconnect, leaving the horn inoperable. A non-working horn prevents you from alerting other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.

Contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752 or take your vehicle to a Tesla service center for a free steering wheel replacement. Notification letters were mailed September 23, 2025. Reference Tesla recall number SB-25-17-009.
