Toyota and Lexus are recalling certain 2023-2025 model-year vehicles because a software error in the instrument panel can cause it to fail to display vehicle speed, brake system warnings, and tire pressure warnings at startup. Missing these critical alerts increases the risk of a crash or injury.

What is recalled
Certain Toyota and Lexus vehicles, spanning multiple model years: - 2023-2024 Toyota Venza - 2023-2025 Toyota RAV4 Prime, RAV4, Highlander, GR Corolla, Crown - 2024-2025 Lexus TX, Lexus LS - 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma, Grand Highlander - 2025 Lexus RX - 2025 Toyota Crown Signia, Camry, RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), 4Runner Toyota recall numbers: 25TB08 and 25TA08. Lexus recall numbers: 25LB05 and 25LA05. NHTSA recall ID: 25V595000.

You're affected if you own one of the vehicles listed above. Check your model name, model year, and the Toyota or Lexus recall numbers (25TB08, 25TA08, 25LB05, 25LA05) against your owner paperwork or the NHTSA lookup at nhtsa.gov/recalls using your 17-character VIN. Owner notification letters were mailed December 5, 2025, with additional letters anticipated in May 2026.
What to do right now
Contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 to confirm your vehicle is included and arrange the free fix. For non-PHEV vehicles, dealers will push a software update over the air at no charge. For PHEV vehicles, a dealer will inspect the instrument panel and either update the software or replace the assembly, also free of charge. You can also verify your recall status at nhtsa.gov/recalls using your VIN.
