Moisture can enter the reverse light assemblies in certain 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid trucks, causing the lights to fail. Without working reverse lights, pedestrians and other drivers may not see your truck backing up, raising the risk of a crash.

What is recalled

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles with reverse light assemblies prone to moisture intrusion. See your vehicle's documentation or contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331 to confirm if your truck is included in this phased recall (recall numbers 24TB06 or 24TA06).

You're affected if you own a 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 Toyota Tundra or Tundra Hybrid. Check your vehicle's model year on your registration or door jamb. Toyota will confirm your vehicle's recall status when you call or check online.

What to do right now

Contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331 to schedule a free appointment. Dealers will replace both reverse light assemblies and repair the wire harnesses at no cost. Owner letters were mailed May 23, 2026.
