VEEKTOMX VT103 mini power banks have been recalled because their lithium-ion battery can overheat and catch fire, posing a serious fire and burn hazard. The affected chargers, sold in white, pink, and purple, were available on Amazon.

What is recalled
VEEKTOMX VT103 Small Portable Charger Mini Power Banks, sold in white, pink, or purple. The model number "VT103" is imprinted on the back of the unit. Affected units do NOT have a serial number in the bottom right corner of the back. Sold on Amazon.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a VEEKTOMX portable power bank that: (1) has "VT103" printed on the back, AND (2) has NO serial number in the bottom right corner of the back of the device.
What to do right now
Stop using this power bank immediately. Contact Shenzhen Baihang to confirm your unit is part of the recall and get a free replacement: email [email protected] or visit veektomx.com and click "Important Recall Information." Do NOT throw the power bank in the trash, curbside recycling, or a used-battery drop box. Contact your local household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center ahead of time to arrange safe disposal, if they don't accept recalled lithium-ion batteries, contact your municipality for guidance.
