Victory Medical Center Pharmacy is recalling its injectable Glutathione 200 mg/mL, 30 mL multi-dose vials because testing found bacterial endotoxin levels outside acceptable limits. Injecting a product contaminated with bacterial endotoxins can cause serious, potentially life-threatening reactions.

What is recalled

Glutathione (multi-dose vial), 200 mg/mL, 30 mL vial. Each mL contains: Glutathione 200 mg, Ascorbic Acid 20 mg, Benzyl Alcohol 1.5%, Sodium Hydroxide (pH adjustment), in sterile water for injection. Manufactured by Victory Medical Center Pharmacy (VMC).
