The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz has a third-row rear bench seat wide enough for three passengers but equipped with only two seat belts. If three people sit in this seat, there won't be enough seat belts to safely restrain everyone in a crash.

Contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298 to schedule a free repair. A dealer will install trim to adjust the width of the third-row rear seats at no cost. If you received an owner notification letter mailed on June 20, 2025, follow the instructions in that letter.
